Pros & Cons
Pros
Barbara hambly is a master of descriptive writing and suspense. Bride of the rat god is a well-written, absolutely fun, window on a world and a genre.

Highlights
Quality
Humbly has the energy, and manages to inject some good writing as well.
Good character development and nicely descriptive of the time period.

Nevertheless, i am very glad to be able to take this book with me everywhere i go, and that's worth a great deal.
