Pros

Hopefully the durability is the same! If you want a good quality hose that will last for decades this is the one to buy.

Cons

The hose had an oily film all over it. The critical flaw for this hose is the exterior covering that leaves you covered in black gunk.

The garage sale hose is 20 times better than these pieces of garbage. I have a very good hose real, and this hose is almost impossible to get it in the hose real. This hose is in the garbage.

I have been very pleased with the value and performance of this product.

Wasted $$$$ on expandable hoses of poor quality.

It is pricey but you get what you pay for and i'm a firm believer in that.

Shipping

The only downside is that it took a month to receive!

Amazon shipping was really slow for some reason (i am a prime member).

Ups handled the shipping of two boxes.

Packaging/appearance

One box with 2 hoses was mangled almost beyond belief.

Boxes were very thin and inappropriate for heavy contents.

Competitiveness

I buy this same brand in different lengths over the years.

Better than anything i could find at the orange and blue big-box stores.

I tried buying a set of rubber/polymer hoses that were a different brand, but they were inferior and i returned them.

Briggs and stratton replaced the old craftsman brand but are the same product.
