Briggs &r luggage is as advertised. Very roomy and sturdy. They appear durable, and have yet.
Amazon folded and jammed the bag into the box. This bag is light but sturdy. It is amazingly difficult to find a quality bag this perfect size.

High quality zippers are top notch and sewn into the bag very well. Good details on inner pockets, stitching & design. Shoulder strap is padded.
Cons
Customer care experience is inexcusable for a company that promotes quality and lifetime warranties. The broken part is unfortunate. Contacted their customer support through the website and no response.

Packaging/appearance
I love all the pockets and the internal compartments in the bag.
The only negative comment i have to make is the way amazon folded and jammed the bag into the box.
Clothes could fit in the big square compartment, with toiletries and such stowed in the pockets.
Competitiveness
Bigger than my old travelpro bag and has more pockets and details.

I cannot say the same for amazons shipping technique it was flattened and forced into a small plastic bag resulting in badly wrinkled canvas and some loss of structure

A couple of times i did carry the bag by the cross strap which was very comfortable on my shoulder and held the bag in position slightly in front of the body so that the bag didnt hang up on seated passengers

I ordered and returned three bags from other companies as they were not suitable for my needs

I end up buying at least one piece a year due to wear and tear with my frequent travel and even under warranty i found it difficult to find a place to repair and most fell under the excluded part of the warranty

That is not a challlenge with the hanging section i do use my flat hangers to successfully secure them
