Hilary mantel's style bores the pants off ordinary people and only satisifies pseudo-intellectuals.
The catholic church is only for saints and sinners--for respectable people, the anglican church will [have to] do. To paraphrase ms. Stein a novel is a novel, not a novel.
One positive of reading it on kindle is that there are many words now either obscure or often defunct. The kindle price is more expensive than the paperpack. Won't ever buy bose again.
