This not only solves that problem, but the pockets are genius. The zip pockets are inconspicuous and roomy. It is a little shorter than anticipated butoverall good product.
These shorts are awesome and they look and feel great. Have been able to use these shorts for a few weeks now and have been enjoying it.
The compression liner is not necessarily tight, but are much more comfortable than the regular liner. I think he would have been comfortable if it was just a smidge longer but they look great.

The only problem i had with them was if i jump in the pool with my kids and air built up in the trunks the air had no place to go since there are no holes between the liner and the trunks

Makes it a little difficult to use the phone compartment on the right side though bc you have to lift up the shorts pretty high to get there

I like to do a lot of lap swimming but didnt want a a speedo im 61 those days are far behind me b regular beach trunks those are too baggy for laps
