Pros

The water comes out tasting crisp and fresh. Water tastes fine and it us easy to fill. It looks beautiful and works wonderfully.

The filter removes about 99% of the contaminants (like lead) from water. The reservoir for water waiting to be filtered appears to be larger than on my older models. The brita filters are somewhat expensive, but they do last a long time and do a fanta... Read More

This brita requires less frequent filter changes and pours more smoothly. It pours way better and the lid is sturdier. The other great feature is a pour spout that closes.

The game changer is the long lasting filter. The reminder indicator is easy to set and reset.

Cons

For over 2 months i have tried this brita long lasting water pitcher.

The holder that sits inside cracked on the very 1st day!

Price

The one downside is it takes longer to filter out water than the other ones, but it's the price you pay for longevity.

Shipping

In my case 1 day was promised, then i received an update it would be delivered the second day, then another on the third day which it did.

Be aware, however, that - as several other customers noted - it simply does not arrive on time.

Competitiveness

The smooth lines of the pitcher are a nice alternative to other boxy shaped pitchers.

There are a gazillion water filter pitchers by now, and brita has plenty of models.

Though the design is a little nicer than the original large pitcher, i'll probably go back to the original one at some point.
