I was a bit hesitant because of the price, but very happy with it.
Saving $80+ a month on bottled water.
However that’s still cheaper than the refrigerator filter we used to replace every six months so it’s a win.
But for me that’s not a big deal.
Shipping
It arrived within 2 days of purchase which i appreciated.
Thus product was securely wrapped and shipped.
Competitiveness
Brita no longer owns this brand it belongs to hamilton beach and they have nothing on their site and no customer service.
This is a replacement for a different brand waterpurifier.

It is not a reverse osmosis ro system which are in vogue now

Unlike an ro system this one does not recycle water through the storage tank which means you do not need to remove the tank and empty it before refilling

On the other hand it does not use a multiple filter or reverse osmosis scheme so you cannot expect the water to be as pure

Some how it actually filters out city tap water so well it’s gets rid of the smell and after taste you commonly taste in city water
