Everything arrived securely packed from the manufacturer and included the 10 cup pitcher, 1 filter shell and a refillable filter.
The britta filter pitcher was very easy to setup and the instructions are clearly shown on the box.

Aside from not quite as easy a filter swap its just impossible to beat the plugandplay of the standard pitcher its every bit as good at least in ways you can test without a lab

I got this because we recently learned that the tap water in our area has quite a bit of impurities that are probably not good for us in the long term so we wanted something that would let us easily filter the water and store it in our fridge
