Some people have complained that its hard to release the clicktight button

Im not an engineer but im guessing its because when you click the seat down on the seatbelt it tightens the belt hence clicktight

The buttonlatch is now locked under the pressure of the mechanism which makes it harder to open which is not a bad thing

They need to read their manual and try again the seatbelt is most likely pulled too tight
