Pros & Cons

Pros

It runs efficiently, and heats the room very well. My only concern is with the thermostat.

Instructions are a little sketchy. Measure the case before cutting any drywall and be sure where studs are. Overall, it seem like a good product. Lot of bang for the buck.

These are far superior to the typical coiled nichrome wire found on most of these type heaters. Great replacement for my 1981 in wall electric heater.

Cons

The thermal overload switches and the circuit beaker switches break all the time. The reset button is in the worst place, difficult to reset. The heater runs for about 10 minutes before it thermal overload switch kicks in.

Awful heater. The * is also next to impossible to put on or take off. Have not turned heater on yet, but disappointed with grey knob.

I believe this was a returned and refurbished item even though i paid full price. Only the guts need to be switched out of the casing instead of trying retrofit the wall for another manufacturer. Replaced with oem part still fails on both.

Good quality product this is a replacement for another one we used for several years daily

Easy to install, quite and produces a good amount of heat.

The 4000 high output fan forced heat warms the room quickly and cycles on and off to maintain an even warmth in my converted garage.

The first few times i used it after installation,it tripped its own reset after a few minutes.

Packaging/appearance

This arrived with a scratched and dented grille/faceplate.

Theres a half wattage setting you can use by removing a jumper and having only one element instead of 2but the one element requires 240vso you have to leave both line circuits intact

One problem is that the motor is too heavy not to be supported at both front and rearso it only has 2 little nuts holding it to the rear and they must be tight

There is nothing in the front and it wobbles about reverberating its woes to the entire assembly
