Was impressed with the heavier gauge metal used for both the blades and shroud.
The broan 353 gable mount attic fan is very quiet.
Relatively quiet and the thermostat works well.

We are very pleased with our purchase and the price was even a little better than we had found elsewhere.
I reasonably quite and the price was right.

I used some sorbothane vibration mounts to attach the fan to the plywood- but im not sure if that made much of a difference.
Straightforward instructions, some effort required to install (framing, exterior house penetration), works like a champ!
Additionally, i plan to add a tp-link switch so i can switch the override on/off in the kasa app.

It is thermostatically controlled and when the attic gets to the temperature we have set 95 degrees it turns on and at night when it cools down it shuts off

The motor itself was bad and in retrospect a simple continuity check would have determined that

A slight noise is heard one floor below and if i were to reinstall it i would put felt washers between the support arms and the shroud
