It does an excellent job keeping the temperature down and exhausting the moisture. Works good for what it is but when we really remodel the kitchen we'll replace with an over the stove hood exhaust.
It's loud enough to neutralize most bathroom sounds. It's a but louder than expected but it was listed at 4 sones so it was accurate. The noise level is rather high, but it isn't objectionable in terms of the sound quality.

It's less than 2 feet from my stove burner. It has an oscillating noise that's annoying. It draws 6 amps (720 watts) or over 17 kwh/day - r u f'ing serious?

I took note of the inside measurements of the fan but i neglected to note the measurements of the outside vent part
