Pros

The broan e6430ss is a good range hood, but not perfect. Very effective for a 600cfm hood. Decided to go with this hood for our remodel. Really powerful vent and really nice looking.

Installation isn't as simple as it looks, although it can be done by a reasonably adept homeowner. A power screwdriver and a stubby phillips are helpful. Reasonable cost, but do comparison shopping.

The exhaust fan is very powerful and can expel the strongest of the smokes and odors very quickly. The sound is not too distracting if you operate the exhaust at the lowest level. It's much more quiet than the microwave fan it replaced and a gazillion... Read More
