What i will say is that the required space off of the burner pads on 20k btus or greater is the size projection forward is too long and the stove top is difficult to see anything on it while cooking

Screwing in halogens or leds seems a nobrainer but the gu10 bulbs base is a pain to screw in the hood upside down

Hood mounting hole locations don’t match spec sheet dimensions measure actual hole locations on the hood

Despite what broan tech support says leds appear to work ok although they may not last as long as halogens because the rated max operating temperature for leds is lower than halogens

Dimming works no guarantee these bulbs will dim when installed in other makes of hoods as their dimmer circuitry may be different

Previous to purchasing this hood we only had the blower in the overthestove microwave
