The description says it is a 1 sone equivalent to a refrigerator noise. Pattern on the grate is not as advertised.

Once installed, the fan works well and is very quiet - have no issues with it
Sucks the air out of our bathroom quickly and efficiently.
Using it while the shower is on, have never had steam build up on the mirrors or walls, no matter how long or hot the shower.
- it's significantly louder than i expected, even with a straight insulated vent run to the roof cap.

The second one was sent out and received within two days of the return which was a fabulous turnaround.

Had to cut off brackets from below which ended up having to open up the roof opening a bit that left a little gap which needed to be patched after installing the replacement fan
