The app sees it as a pokemon go plus. This is a fun item for any pokemon go enthusiast but a little pricey for what it is.
Quick recharge and long battery life. No annoying loud beeping.

The case itself can be snapped back in but it's been consistently popping off. Used to for about 3 to 4 weeks and the back keeps popping off.

Leave it unused for 3040 minutes and you’ll need to reconnect but in my opinion that’s a normal function

This is great if you want to set it and forget it when say at work or visiting a new area like a theme park and want to make sure you get all the new pokemon

The device only uses red balls and there is no way to change this so you may want to be careful if you are looking for someone super specific and dont want to miss out
