Neither pair needed any breaking in and both feel equally great even though the uppers of the black ones and brown ones are made from totally different material

The shoe runs a bit small as do most sneaker type shoes

The exact shoe was no longer available i tried another similar shoe by new balance and returned them because it was not comfortable

The reason i gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that i normally wear a 14m but had to get a 15m they run small
