Pros

The brooks beast 23 is the best shoe i ever owned. They are not as cushy as the ghost and glycerin, but the support is top notch.

The shoes are very comfortable and stylish. The sizing is perfect. They provide great cushioning and padding.

The shoe is great overall, definitely felt the difference in support with these shoes provided to my feet.

Lots of stability when running and walking - very good shoe

It has “max support” and nitrogen-injected cushion.

I usually spend $60-$80 for sneakers so these were way out of my usual budget for sneakers, but i am glad i spent the extra money.

They are a little pricey, but in this case, worth the investment.

A few days prior to departure fleet feet still did not have them, so i ordered from amazon and had them the next day.

I shopped two fleet feet stores (where i first started buying them) and ordered from one three weeks prior to the cruise.

Packaging/appearance

I found the toe box to be smaller than the past and i had to return them.

Competitiveness

I tried the usual well known brands out there again and i have noticed the quality of those sneakers has gone down.

Also i found the shoe style interactive guide on brooks’ website very helpful in deciding which style was best for me.

I bought these shoes to compare to a hoka pair of running shoes.

They are very firm and more narrow than other brands.
