Pros

For someone that has a low instep, this fit design is perfect. Ran 2 miles on trails with steep inclines and a lot of rocks and roots. So far these shoes have been extremely durable.

The stiffness is perfect, especially through the heel. Toe insoles are the answer. They need to make more options for extra wide or just slightly widen the toe and metatarsal parts of the shoe.

Cons

These are the absolute worst. Cheap quality. Too big in toe box. No way worth the price.

The shoes themselves are quite good tho, the cushioning is firm but still very comfortable, exactly what i want for a trail shoe.

I walk a lot for work and so far these shoes have been extremely durable.

The shoe is designed as a "low" volume shoe which means the foot should fill the entire shoe with little wasted space.

With the speedgoat every time i stepped on uneven surfaces such as rocks it felt like i was one wrong move away from rolling the ankle.

Competitiveness

I own about 8 different brooks shoes models, 8 different new balance shoes, a pair of on clouds, and a pair of hokas.

I had to go with altras instead, but they don't feel quite as comfortable and supportive.
