I love my altra true wide toe box and nobody else makes a shoe that is so comfy for me but reviewers lately are very unhappy with the quality of altras

I ordered the brooks in a half size larger than my usual size and if the forefoot wasnt tight it wouldnt be necessary

I also dont feel that there is as much cushion as i enjoy but ive adjusted to that

When i swapped out for a cushier insole the brooks wasnt deep enough to accomodate it so i couldnt make that work
