Pros
It sews better than my babylock katherine. Great for repairs on jeans to curtains. Excellent machine for basic sawing and much more.
Brother is always a good basic machine. More features than expected. Lots of good documentation on the machine and how to use it. Easy to use, great features, and so much more.
The ce8100 has an amazing amount stitches, 120 in all. Love this machine except for the bobbin winder. Just had to fix one of the straps on this https://smile.

Broken piece's where in the box, will be sending back.

There is a plastic insert inside the back of the pouch that the machine had to push through to sew this strap on

Buy this machine for regular sewing of clothing and home decor but this machine will not quilt

It might do a thin rag quilt but it wont work for a 3 layer quilt if the middle layer is batting or old blankets all 3 layers must be very thin to do it with this machine
