Pros

Brother printer connects well with the wifi. Scanning/copying function works great.

Cons

I have to go through the entire wi-fi setup each time to get it connected. On the one old computer, it only is recognized in one usb port out of several.

Not recommended unless you are a *. If you love to waste time this company is happy to oblige.

This printer is a nightmare. By the way thepdf manual is a bad joke. Used the printer for 10 days and shipped back. Tested out with (10 sheets) returned to seller.

The media feeder is difficult to load and harder to have work without jams. It is broken if you use firefox, chrome seems to work but this manual is short on details as well. Piece of junk with a bunch of buggy issues.

Print quality is pretty average at best, but also it's a black and white printer.

So thought of writing a review for this product.

Price

I got ink cartridge replacements from 3rd parties, so cost is manageable.

Shipping

Brother even provides a shipping label to send the old one back for recycling.

Competitiveness

Ordered the dcp-l2540dw nearly 4 years ago now and she's still running like a champ.

As for scanning, mac has the worst software on the market.

Wanted to try something other than hp.
