Pros

Good beginner machine. Clear guid makes it easy to use. User manual is very easy to understand.

I love both brother machines and am giving the se400 to my granddaughter who will also love it. The seller has amazing customer service.

New hobby for me and can learn to sew. Everyone loves to make there own custom shirts and sweatshirts now. I love this machine and when business slows down i will play with the sewing machine part!

I really like the speed & quietness of this machine, it's very quiet, more like a purr. Soooooo much support is available online for this model.

New brothread 60 weight brother colors are reliable and inexpensive. The auto threader is better than my baby lock bl40's and makes changing thread easy. Bobbin ease, auto thread cutter and the patterns are so easy to access on a usb drive.

Cons

The needle wheel freezes. Sometimes the needle breaks, sometimes the needle falls out. The machine also continues to sew after the thread is severed within it. It seems that there is a margin between sections or etcetera in this machines software?

Pros:the overlock stitches, the stretch stitches and all of the built in stitch quality is outstanding.

Machine works great and i was stoked with all the features!
