Pros

The printer works like a dream, has a lot of great, customizable features and prints quietly and quickly. Canon is costly, brother = budget friendly.

Cons

Set up (wifi) is a nightmare. It has no ethernet and wifi setup on its 2 line lcd. Menu navigation and connectivity are ridiculously archaic.

The toner cartridge lasts far less than advertised. It fails with the error message no paper on tray and a strange clicking noise every time i insert the paper tray.

We are stuck with this defective printer due to issues both with brother canada and amazon. Call tech, no answer, email tech,. But none of them fix the problem. Zero support from the company.

Print quality is nice but the printer frequently jams. Constantly printer goes offline and i have to fiddle with it and turn pc on/off every time for it to print. The printer is large and is hard to manoever to remove the jammed paper.

Well built product i bought to replace my ink jet that was always out of in.

The print quality is great, it's nice and quiet and very fast.

It felt that in less than 15 minutes i had printed a document, scanned a page on each device.

Printing is no longer a torturous, frustrating experience with this new printer.

Price

A relative affordable printer that does an excellent job.

It won’t let me load a pic from my phone if the $10 mail in rebate.

I was looking for a laser printer that was smaller than my last one, at a reasonable price.

The actual cost of printing is way more practical.

After having my fair share of troubles with hp and epson products, decided to switch the brand - and so far, things seems to look good.
