Pros

It comes with a estimated year of ink and that can save one a nice amount from others starter cartridges. It prints up to 11 x 17 (though only scans up to legal size), which is a bonus.

The brotherpage gauge takes the guesswork out of when to replace ink. Wireless printing works smoothly with my system. Set up was straightforward.

Adopting a new brand printer takes patience. Less hesitation than our old printer. Worth the extra $80 or so that it costs above the lower tier models in this space.

As a wireless printer it is supremely frustrating to operate. The trays are so cheaply made that they fall out very easily when trying to add paper.
