Pros & Cons
Pros
Automatic back stitch lovely movement and quite quiet. I am not doing as much sewing as i used to but i want to make some curtains.
Brilliant machine and great service from the seller. It is so smooth and easy to use, i am delighted with my purchase. Great for beginners and advanced sewers like myself.
I love the one step button hole, that is a game changer for me. It has a speed dial/slider which i find very useful. The pedal is so much more controllable than my old machine.
I’m at an age now that it’s a very handy feature. Really easy to use. Very intuitive. Easy to use and very efficient.
I am getting on in my years, but still managed to understand the computerised part. Instructions seem mind boggling and i am sure they could be simplified. I’m a novice but found it very easy to get to grips with.
Cons
The thread seems to knot very easily when i do reverse stitching. In fact, the thread knots all the time and i have to keep restarting work. Everything else (including jersey) is a nightmare.

Quality
Such a contrast to my previous experience with the old toyota.
I had problems with the needle threader at first but i persevered and it’s excellent.

Packaging/appearance
Very easy to use, took out of the box and started using within 5 minutes.
Competitiveness
Once accustomed to controles the machine makes it easy to use for a begginer like me.
I've since taken it to a designer friend of mine who runs sewing workshops using janome machines, and she was blown away with it.
