Pros
Ink jet cartridges work well in my brother color printer. Very sharp and crisp printing. The oem ink from brother is more expensive than aftermarket brands.
Cons
Brother ink cartridges are cheaper than hp, but they actually hold only 1/3 the ink that an hp cartridge holds so you end up paying more because you need 3 to every one of the hp cartridges. These are not 450 page yield cartridges. This must be filled... Read More

The oem ink from brother is more expensive than aftermarket brands but i dont make that many copies and im not about to run the risk of ruining my printer with a substandard ink

When you receive your ink make sure it comes in the carton because thats where the use by date is printed not on the plastic wrap on the cartridge
