Pros

Brother ql-700 label printer is nice and fast - once you install it's application mind you. Software has two modes; a simplified mode for people who just want to print basic labels with some standard templates, and a power-user mode where you can conn... Read More

Everything prints clearly, unlike another label maker i was previously using. Printing speed is nearly instant. You never need ink, just refill the tape.

Cons

Software is so confusing and stressful to use. Technical support is spotty and installation instructions are unclear. The included setup and operation instructions are absolutely the worst i have ever struggled with.

Quick start guide' ignores how to set up to actually print labels. It keeps shutting off when printing starts and printed only partially.

This printer is not compatible with windows 10. The linux/ ubuntu driver support is non-existent. Maybe it is plug-n-play for pc but i really regret buying this.

How * is that? Utterly terrible. Really annoying.

Excellent printer, easy setup , works great

The ql-800 wouldn't work thru the medical program and they had to print outside of it.

Mine is dated 1/28/2015it used to be dated 2011 or thereabouts.

Price

It looks like they have also increased in price.

Tax and accounting office much more productive with this little gem.

Shipping

Nice product fast shipping past printing labels.

This labeler can print out decent shipping labels or company logos at lighting speed.

I use it to print shipping labels and postage through sendpro and haven’t had any issue with doing so.

Competitiveness

I also had another brand and it sucked.

I replaced by ql-500 with this model.
