Easy Threading
Customers are very pleased with the easy threading feature of the Brother RLX3817 sewing machine, making it a convenient choice for both beginners and those who need to do simple repairs. Some users have reported minor issues but overall, they find the machine user-friendly and effective.
Highlights
Quality
I’m not a professional seamstress by any means, so this is a perfect small-scale, lightweight machine to do the repair work i need it for.
So far i’ve tried it on several types of fabric and it doesn’t have any problems with jamming etc.
At one point, when i finished one side, the threads did not pull from the machine easily to be cut.
Worked great to fix a bunch of pants i had ripped.
Price
Used near me these sell for $140.
At this point i’ve gotten way more than my moneys worth out of this machine though, so am looking to get a heavier duty machine anyway.
Shipping
I’m self-taught and got the hang of it pretty quickly.
Arrived quickly and packaged like new with all the extra bits and instructions included.
Packaging/appearance
All the parts were in the box, including the instruction manual.
I went with the aqua which is adorable, and i know it doesn’t matter but hey, it looks good on my table.
