Buy this to hem your pants and save money as well go crazy with pillows and comforters. It's much quieter than any singer i’ve owned. It sews a very neat seam.
Easy needle threading, easy to use bobbin loading, smooth feel when sewing. Has all the markings just follow. The automatic needle threader is amazing!

All in all a very aggravating machine. The one i got is not even close. Very dissatisfied.
This machine likes to tout how durable and tough it is. Don't be fooled by the strong and sturdy promos, get an actual heavy duty grade machine.

Very sturdy and so far, no problems
The machine is really strong and tough as the name implies.
It sewed several layers of fabric with no difficulty at all.
It is supposed to be an extra strong machine, but a couple of the parts seem a little flimsy, especially the presser foot lifter.
Competitiveness
It is comparable to my old machine that i paid big bucks for 20 years ago.

The drawback to me was the buttonhole attachment

When you start the buttonhole youll have to adjust your zig zag stitch to make tight lines

When the buttonhole has finished one two and three the last stitch which is a zig zag stitch doesnt stop as other machines do

So the adjustment is to look through the tiny hole of the needle plate and make sure your stitch stops and you are not able to backtack to secure the stitch

You just have to cut the thread and try to pull it through the fabric so that you can tie a knot

Other than that i thought it was a great machine and it will sew through eight denim fabric pieces and then land on a single cotton fabric and the stitches look great

When kenmore was no longer made i purchased one from the manufacturer of the kenmore sewing machine
