Pros

Buy this to hem your pants and save money as well go crazy with pillows and comforters. It's much quieter than any singer i’ve owned. It sews a very neat seam.

Easy needle threading, easy to use bobbin loading, smooth feel when sewing. Has all the markings just follow. The automatic needle threader is amazing!

All in all a very aggravating machine. The one i got is not even close. Very dissatisfied.

This machine likes to tout how durable and tough it is. Don't be fooled by the strong and sturdy promos, get an actual heavy duty grade machine.

The 4452 got really loud with 3 layers of flannel, even with a size 16 needle, and 2 layers of denim.

It sewed several layers of fabric with no difficulty at all.

Price

The price is affordable and it is a beast!

The price is also great for what this brother can do.

Only drawback is that i’m missing my auto thread cutter, small price to pay to assure the computer isn’t going to go bad!

I bought a much more expensive sewing machine (husqvarna) and returned it.

It is comparable to my old machine that i paid big bucks for 20 years ago.
