I considered a pattern part and considerably less money that the genuine item but while my printer is still under warranty up to 6 years consumer contracts regulations its likely to be better to stick to the oem parts for now

Having tried and failed to install a compatible cartridge i have learned my lesson and reverted to genuine brother

Annoying that the replace cartridge comes up well before it is actually empty look on the internet at how to reset the counter and get another 200 pages out of it
