I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys well written sci-fi. Captivating fast paced mystery adventure.
The universe is in turmoil as a warlike people expand by capturing planets. Together, these remind me of classic science fiction.
Cons
The book starts with a potentially sound premise then flounders into an mishmash of disjointed plot themes linked only by one brothers rather creepy obsession with a corpsicle.
Highlights
Quality
The author does a good job with the brothers.
I totally fell in love with the characters they are so realistic.
I have read some of the other reviews of those unhappy with the storyline.
I had a problem with the younger brother though.
Shipping
A good story with 2 brothers roaming the stars in their fathers ship.

The universe is potentially interesting but the squabbling in the first book maybe takes up to much of the story
