Pros & Cons
Pros
We need to replace roof poles as the fiberglass ones have cracks. No leaks after a few days of rain without applying seam sealer. No returns, no extra hassle.
It's great for pulling out of your truck and over to your campsite. The ventilated roof makes it easy to use a propane heater.
It is very easy to set up, and the poles are incredibly sturdy. Pretty simple to assemble. It's a bit heavy but can be easily moved by one person. The pole is not as lightweight as you might think because the steel poles are heavy.
Cons
Tent needs stronger poles. Elastic ties connecting the pole supports to the tent body came loose. Material is thinner above the windows you can see fingers through it.
Not tarp like. After the 1st night camping out, there was condensation around the whole perimeter of the bottom of the tent. Tent leaks at a corner seam, window seam, and one of the door zipper seams.
