Pros

Good quality, appears to be a hardy little compass. Great for hikes or hunting.

The mounting system is clever, versatile, and secure.

Cons

The water inside the compass has evaporated after a third hike. The plastic ball has seams that won't let the compass turn freely. It is a lot of hassle for an inexpensive item. Do not buy this compass.
