The keyboard fits the tablet perfectly. I love that it can hinge as if it were a laptop.

It's not a problem if you proofread, as most people do, but it can happen. The tactical feel of the keys is also very good. It's great to have a trackpad to use instead of the stylus.

The keyboard connects to the device via bluetooth, which i didn't expect but probably should have. It connects immediately when it boots up and can be used to log in to windows. It's easy to disconnect and connect this keyboard.

The bluetooth keyboard and trackpad are very responsive. The trackpad also works phenomenally.

Cons

Tried contacting customer service, but there's no phone number listed on the website. Email was sent to describe the issue, and no response from the seller. Nothing helps it in the slightest.

This is absolutely not worth risking your laptop's life. The claps that grab onto the laptop and screen itself are very tight. Customer support is nonexistent.

This fits the bill perfectly and at a great price point!

I’m not sure how battery life is yet but so far i’m very happy especially for the price.

They were very prompt with sending me a replacement right away.

I initially received a defective keyboard, but contacting the seller (tekbuff) through amazon was great.

Packaging/appearance

Box was not sealed and there's a pea size chunk of paint missing from the front edge.

Competitiveness

Haven't used a surface-branded keyboard since the first surface, but this is so much better than that had been.

I almost returned it because the trackpad would not work in linux (debian, fedora, mint, unbuntu, etc.

I used other brands which were more oriented to other laptops and/or tablets.

It have never regretted buying this over the microsoft branded keyboard.
