Pros & Cons
Pros
Brydge c-type works well with acer chromebook spin 15 and acer chromebook tab 10. It's a nice keyboard for chrome products, the size is just as great. I still prefer the keyboard on chromebook pixel, but i'm guessing it's just because i'm used to it. ... Read More
Build is phenomenal. My only complaint is that i'm just not a fan of this metallic blue-ish black color of the frame.
The usb-c connection is a huge standout. Connects via bluetooth immediately. There is a couple of seconds lag when waking up from sleep in bluetooth mode.
I have full functionality of my computer, and it has made a huge difference. But my use is more sporadic, i. It ticks all the boxes i've set for this product.
The keys have a nice tactile click to them that aids in feedback. The build quality is great, and the key travel makes it fun to type. The weight is heavy but not too much so. These are minor quibbles—it’s a great keyboard and quite affordable for its... Read More
Cons
Even when plugged in to a computer with a usb cable, it doesn't act like a traditional wired keyboard. Gives off too much rf that confuses my bt mouse. I hesitate to give them a shot when the most basic stuff doesn't work for this keyboard.
Highlights
Quality
Besides working great the keyboard looks and feels like a quality product.
Good product with a nice build quality.
Its lack of dedicated chrome-specific keys became just too irritating.
The brightness never worked, the multitasking window button was not existent, and i could not take screenshots.
Price
+ excellent value for the money+ outstanding customer service, fast, accurate and extremely helpfulcons- none.
I bought this keyboard when it was listed for $80.
It's $50 now, but i think it was still great deal.
But all in all, it's an amazing budget product.
Packaging/appearance
But nonetheless, it ticks all the boxes i've set for this product.
Nice feel and the form factor is great if i need to pack it.
Competitiveness
Brydge c-type works well with acer chromebook spin 15 and acer chromebook tab 10.
I don't know of any other dedicated chrome os options, but brydge didn't cut any corners.
I'd compare them to the standard mac desktop keyboard.
