First of all, the build quality seems to be very good.
I had hoped that this would be solved by the brydge g-type, but it still occurs.
Price
All in all - it was actually worth the price.
Packaging/appearance
- great viewing/typing anglesthings i'm not too fond of:- the pressure on the bottom corners of the screen.
Slipping the slate into the holding hinges was smooth and the hinges feel really solid when tilting the screen.
Competitiveness
The layout is slightly different to the official google keyboard or a pixelbook keyboard.
As far as i know this is the only way the device can work like a pixelbook on your lap.

What i discovered was that these issues are an early indication that the keyboard needs charging

Although the instructions dont mention it at all for some reason it does have the expected clicking and gesturing areas

The backlit keys do go off but i noticed this only happens when the slate goes into sleep mode or you shut the lid

If you are used to google keyboards you are going to hit the wrong key

The clips to attach the keyboard are like giant rubberised paper clips

If you bend them closer and push the slate in they are going to put pressure on the screen and cause bleed
