Pros
The hinges are extremely tight and securely hold the pro 8. This keyboard helps use my surface on the lap very comfortably.
Cons
Totally regretting this purchase. Return window closed on sep 5, 2022. Cons:- bad layout. Touchpad is okay.
If you breathe near the surface, it drops bluetooth connectivity. The surface's screen doesn't turn off when you fold it shut, even if you lock it. Disconnects itself constantly, the mouse doesn't click half the time.
The only thing it's good for is as a desktop port for the surface. The battery life is garbage. This makes fn-lock mode pretty much useless.

I bought this keyboard for my surface-pro 9 and two months of usage, no problems.
I charged it to 100% after unboxing and before first use.
That was 96 hours ago and it's currently at 92% battery life.

Came in dead with no charging cord had to buy seperately.

This has no room for adjustment so if you use this youll probably need to remove the protector or somehow use an exacto knife to make cutouts where the hinges secure
