If you don't already have a spare, or have a wall outlet that accepts usb, then keep that in mind for ordering this kit. The only down side is that instructions are small print, thats not a show stopper.

This is perfect for starting my seedlings and honestly comes with a lot for the price.

Weve tried seeding trays in the past but the rooms we have that offer sufficient sunlight dont really work for us and weve had limited luck starting off in rooms that dont get as much sun

The top cover that also holds the light is much higher than most other versions weve tried in the past and this is great because we often find that the plants have outgrown the shorter ones before we are ready to plant them outside
