We have 2 rescue dogs and the youngest which is a 3 year old frenchie x sprocker is extremely vocal. This device has greatly reduced her barking and it no longer bothers so much.
This is easy to use, it's rechargeable is is brill so no wasting money on batteries! It’s very compact which is good, and it does work.

I have to say that in addition to my dogs barking it also recognizes other strong blows which my dog does not like
