Pros & Cons
Pros
I love the way alva and nora nursery fits and like the bumgenius and flip cover fit too. They also fit my son very nicely. Still fit our 35 lbs 2.
This is the third installment of my cloth diaper reviews comparing trendlab, bumkins, and bumgenius. Both brands have their frustrations and their strong points. If affordable, they are the best option out there.
They are ridiculously soft and easy to use. However, softness only gets you so far, and when we are talking diapers, i can't trade softness for absorbancy. My son stays dry all night long even though the liners are soaked the next day.
Diaper comes with a newborn and regular insert. The advantage of using pocket is you can use another insert or try different things like prefolds, flats, birdseye or flour sack towels that works best for you and your baby. Just a little bit of discolo... Read More
Bumgenius come with 2 microfiber inserts, one big with snaps that you can regulate the size and one small. Cleaning them is not too complicated or time consuming, and the sizing options with the snaps has accomodated our growing child. They are adjust... Read More
Cons
Bum leaky diapers leak hard. They don't absorb quickly enough. Not touching them again.

0 option seems to be cheaper by a few bucks right now, but the 5.
If a diaper is in the $10 range- i'd be cautious.

Spending $20+ each was a little too much for our budget, and i think we averaged out around $6 used plus a bunch of re-usable wipes.
Packaging/appearance
See my picture but i've repurposed the plastic clip hangers you get from shopping and buying pants.
The only difference between the two if those diapers aside from the packaging is the trim fit.
(tip: leave the country save detergent boxes inside the shipping box in your laundry room because the powder tends to leak through the box!

We have tried rumparooz, thirsties, flip, and fuzzibunz prior to these.
This is my third time ordering more diapers, i had try other brands before this brand but i'm staying with bumgenius.

After lots of research it seemed to me like pocket diapers would be a good choice for us rather than covers and prefolds
