Pros

Lawnmower is a serious purchase for our household. We have 1 1/3 acre of grass and it cuts it very nicely with about half the effort of my self-propelled gas push mower. Clean out the housing after every mowing.

Lightweight, shockingly quiet, powerful, efficient. The lightweight design make it easy to handle.

One-lever height adjustment is the best i've used. Use the metal extension bar and a wrench/socket to unscrew the nuts & bolt.

The last point is really why i bought it. Just sayin’. Five year warranty.

The ego mower is much lighter than a gas mower, so maneuverability is much easier. It replaces my toro with honda 160 gas engine, and i can tell you the ego outperforms the toro in all ways i use it. It works as well for mowing and mulching as my old ... Read More

Cons

It is very frustrating. One is 45 minutes away, the other 2 hours. Not personal pace.

Mower deck raises an inch in the back when you engage the self propelled…then lowers an inch when you disengage it. The self-propelled bar that needs to be held down is in a different position - it is so much worse now.

Customer service reps lie to get you off the phone, but no one does anything to fix the problem. Ego customer service is a call center, very likely a 3rd party with step by step instructions from ego on what to say.

Spend $40 and get a regular, slow charger.

Despite an abundance of excellent reviews it was an expensive buy.

This arrived about two weeks ago, westchester county in new york.

This item will ship on a pallet and will be delivered via a pallet jack.

I purchased it from amazon for several reasons first the price is the best you can find and delivered to your door , came in 4 days .

I didn't have time to wait for amazon shipping since we are expecting rain tonight, and my grass has grown a lot recently.
