Pros

This is enough of an upgrade to be easily justified even if your firm won't reimburse you. Aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, simple software, lots of cool settings. Also got a windscreen for it. Price point sets this up for a great value and great ... Read More

This mic blows my old blue yeti mic out of the water. It picks up way more than my old mic did, which can be a double-edged sword.

Cons

The mic constantly disconnects and reconnects. There is no reason a $170 mic should die after a year.

There seem to be many known issues and hyperx is not even responding to them. No contact emails, no forums, you have to call them to get in contact. For around 150 dollars this is unacceptable.

Two hours after plugging it in, started disconnecting itself. The only way to fix it is to unplug it and plug it back in. Every time i power up after being asleep, it comes up as an unrecognized device with a device descriptor error.

I have to keep the mic so close to me that i always accidentally bump the volume knob and the volume gets lowered to where i'll be talking and no one can even hear me. My stream will tell my that my voice sounds robotic and poppy. It pops off, then po... Read More
