It is very beefy on purpose but as a result it is fairly inflexible and wont fit on all bikes

I have a digital fish scale out in the garage it is a lot more jumpy than the kitchen scale not as trustworthy

With all that said i have several more piccolo rides under my belt and i still agree with all other reviewers that the hitch engineering is waaay better than seatpost hitches
