Idler gear is easy to over clamp on and cause grinding into aluminum arm. The shaft is too short. The screw is a very loose fit that holds the tensioner arm in place.

First off many reviewers say that there are only 3 screws that line up with the nema 17

The product comes with 2 short screws 2 long screws and a medium screw

One fits under where the drive gear sits inside the tiny bearing the other goes under the machined bowden insert or under your hot end if you are direct like that

The remaining 3 screws are put in last and feed through the top plate to sandwich the unit together but only the long screws will reach all the way to the stepper because the 2 short screws are already connected to the stepper

The medium length screw goes in the remaining hole in the top plate that is directly over a short screw you put in before

Thus the nema is connected to the extruder with 4 screws though it takes five to accomplish this trick

A lot of cheap clones use brittle clear plastic top plates this one uses solid abs

Had to reroll my firmware to reverse the e direction was replacing a direct drive but you can just plug the stepper motor in opposite of how it was installed to reverse it through hardware if you dont want to or cannot change the firmware might have to shave a connector or housing
