Always works great. I use them every day installing cctv security systems for monitors 50 to 100 ft from an hdmi splitter. Inexpensive and effective. Made it much easier to connect the nes classic closer to my couch.

The first cable came used and one of the ends was damaged

The ends are very large width wise and barely fit into a roku box which has a recessed hdmi port
