The velcro sticks well to our carpet (commercial closed loop carpet tiles) the more you step on it, the more it adheres. It's a big bonus not to have to bother with sticky double-sided tape.
Man, decent gaffer tape is really expensive. These are phenomenal. As good as gaff tape, at a fraction of the price!
Cons
This is ridiculous. Does not work at all. It was supposed to cover the cable wire. Waste of money.

Wont protect cords from heavy repetitive direct pressure since it is basically just thick velcro but excellent for covering cords to prevent trip hazards

Even though gaffers tape should come up cleanly from carpets i find some surfaces the tape has left a residual sticky mess

I had to cut off part of my balcony rug where it ended near my neighbors balcony because it had become inundated with water tainted by the residue from the constant amoking next door

It doesnt protect the cable but is the lowest profile that you can get so people dont trip over it either
