If you find that you need to constantly release and coil your cord, you might be better off with the hook-and-loop type.
In my case my eyes are getting worse and figuring out which way the bread tie was tied is becoming more of a hassle.
Price
It's a bummer i cannot use these for all my cables due to them being more costly than the velcro cable ties i use on the regular.
For what they are they are a little pricey in my opinion at $1.

Either the silicone wasn't fully cured when packaged, or they bonded a bit.
The only minor nit is that the magnet ends are stuck together a bit out of the package.
Competitiveness
I like these better than the hook-and-loop (velcro off-brand) type i've had in the past, for the most part.
I like them better than velcro cable ties as the velcro tends to stick to itself, and other things, when you don’t want it to.

I am sure there is a good amount of user error on my part but cable ties shouldnt be capable of having user error so for me they are a little disappointing

The other issue i have with these is that they have magnets which can pose a serious health risk to small children that swallow items

You can stretch them through each other and then let them magnetize together for a firmer hold

Anything much heavier than cat5xlr cables will probably start to push their limits unless its a short length
