Pros & Cons
Pros
Save my fingers the (too frequent to admit) task of do-overs when i misjudge the length. The rj45 connector goes on very easily and are the perfect size for 23 gauge wires.
To my surprise they work really, really well. Not a single bad connection so far. They are absurdly tight. Only downside is the pins dont have as much gold coating as the truecable or monoprice plugs but the e contact surface looks like it has just as... Read More
Cons
Line tester says line 5 and 6 are shorted. Same two pairs of line each time. Klein pass thru the compact and regular pass thru with new blades fail. Went to home depot got klein connectors and pass on first termination every time.
Despite using proper cat6 cables of various brands, the contact inside frequently causes the cable to roll instead of being crimped. Of the time these do not crimp right.
I struggle to find a good passthrough rj45 plug from amazon. The holes in these connectors are too small. Their wire insulation is too big. I believe not only are the holes slightly oversized, but the holes error compounds causing pins 1 and 2 to miss... Read More
Cable tester failed to connect to the router. Tried 6 of the cat 6 rj45s replacing one end of a patch cable. Another brand of connector passed the first time.
Highlights
Quality
These are very solid and i am very happy that i was able to use something that felt sturdy and would last a very long time.
Easy to terminate cable ends with pass-thru connectors
Using these with 23awg outdoor cat6 wire was a constant struggle.
So many times in the field i have found where too much of the outer jacket was cut back and only the 4 pairs actually enter the connector.
Price
Exactly what i needed at a great price.
Worked great for me at a reasonable price.
They are super cheap compared to in stores.
They are cheaper when bought this way and have a case that closes keeping them from running away and eloping with a wire nut.
Shipping
I will be all set for any network cable repairs or building custom cables for quite a while now and they got here very quickly ... Read More
Competitiveness
Less expensive than the klein brand and work just as good.
I’ve gone through several hundred of this brand using the klein pass through rj45 crimp tool.

Im a little dismayed that i havent used these before now as ive made countless patch cables over the years

One of the most annoying aspects of putting rj45 ends on cabling is gauging the length to cut the excess wire
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Too short and you risk the contacts not piercing the wires and have to cut and try again with a new connector
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Too long and the insulation doesnt seat in the rj45 risking the connector pulling free or the wires getting damaged from strain
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Once you arrange the pairs just slip the connector on until the insulation is firmly in the connector snip off the excess and crimp it on
