This is more likely evga's fault than the makers of this cable -- the whole "modular power supply" racket is a fundamentally stupid technology introducing more connector resistance, failure points and potential for massive destruction, in the name of "clean builds" that look nice on streams, and it's not surprising that actors in this space would want to force the use of their proprietary cables.  Read Less
